Room 4 2010

Hello everyone, it is great to be back posting on our class blog. We have had a very busy Term 1. The weather has been stunning and we have been glad that our school has a lovely pool. We had our swimming sports in February. In Week 6 the Year 6's went to camp for 4 days. We went to Shakespear Lodge which is situated in Shakespear Regional Park on the Whangaparoa peninsula north of Auckland. I will get the students to post some comments and photos.

Week 3 Term 4

I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine on Labour Day. I have been finding some good things to do with Electricity on the internet and you will be able to have a go at them for your Homelearning this week.

I hope you all told your parents about our exciting news.
BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS! BREAKING NEWS!
We are registered to take part in a GUINESS BOOK WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT!!! On Thursday 13th November we will be Sport stacking with lots of other Sport stackers around the world. Everyone in Room 4 will need to Sport stack for 30 minutes non-stop. What a thrill to take part in this. The record will be for "Most people Sport stacking at Multiple Locations in One Day". I will be receiving the Stack-up packet of information this week so will keep you informed.

I was extremely proud of ALL of you on Friday. You very quickly organised the equipment and set it out exactly as you were told and your instructions and support given to the Junior children was FANTASTIC! It is great to know that I can rely on you all to act so responsibly and independently. THANK YOU!

HOMELEARNING:

Hello Keb it's good to see you have worked out how to communicate on our class blog. Try and get one of your own set up so you can communicate with your classmates via their blogs too. Tell me at school when you have it set up so I can include it. Have a look at the Favourite sites list and try some of the Electricity activities. Say hello to Mum from me.
